Norton Common is a large attractive local nature reserve. Its facilities cater for young and old alike, whether to enjoy family activities centred around the play areas, picnic area or walking along the open areas and the woodlands.
In terms of sports, the park has play areas, skateboard facility, and outdoor swimming pool with cafeteria. As well as two bowling greens, Floodlit Multi Use Games Area and tennis courts.
With both mini and full size courts, Norton Common make playing tennis available to all. There’s no need to book, so turn up and play on a free court.
There is no coaching available at Norton Common. While this is unfortunate, other local tennis clubs do offer a range of affordable coaching and so it’s worth considering other options if you’re looking for coaching.
As with coaching, no competitive action is available. However, if you’re looking for more competitive play, then there’s a number of local club who offer range opportunities for you to play tennis in a more competitive setting.
