Broxbourne Tennis Club

Located in a picturesque 13 acre site next to the New River, Broxbourne Tennis Club is superb community sports facility. The Clubmark Accredited club is part of Broxbourne Sports Club, which along with tennis offers cricket, hockey, squash and so much more. There are plenty of opportunities for children and adults of all ages and standards to enjoy playing tennis.

 

Social Play

Each week six social tennis session take place. These are very popular and offer a chance for members to get to know each other and play in a friendly yet semi-competitive atmosphere!

 

Coaching

The club’s coaching programme is provided by Herts in Tennis. The team offer a comprehensive programme for mini tennis, juniors and adults. For children, the Kids Zone, which has 2 mini tennis courts, is specially designed for younger children up to the age of 8 to start learning to play.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for competitive match play, then the club offers a range. Teams compete in many local leagues including Datchworth Summer League, and East Herts Winter Mixed League as well as Hertfordshire Summer Doubles League. As well as junior teams in the local Aegon league.

 

Membership

Whether you’re are looking to join as an adult, junior or family, Broxbourne Tennis Club offers a range of options. Plus, membership costs a few pounds per week. Visitors are also welcome for a small fee and up to five times before being asked to become a member.

 

Extras

The club thrives as a vibrant social hub in the area. Also, the clubhouse’s bar is the perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends over a drink.
