Rickmansworth Lawn Tennis Club

Rickmansworth Lawn Tennis Club provides a competitive, social and family friendly playing environment. The club offers tennis to all ages and abilities with the aid of an excellent LTA qualified coaching team.

 

The club was established in 1922 and situated just a few minutes’ walk from Rickmansworth station and town centre.

 

Social Play

Each week there are two social tennis sessions. While one is mid-week, members look forward to Saturdays as they usually end with Tea and Cake! Outside the club’s programme, it’s easy to book a court for your own game.

 

Coaching

The coaching team, led by Steve Skov, caters for all ages, abilities and experience, and aims to help all players enjoy tennis and reach their potential. Cardio Tennis is also available.

 

Competitive Tennis

A massive 24 teams are active in a wide range of competitions. There are teams competing in the Watford and District, Hertfordshire and AEGON Leagues. So, whatever your level or age, there’s is a huge amount of match play opportunities available.

 

Membership

Whatever your standard of play Rickmansworth Lawn Tennis Club welcomes all to the club. Prospective members can take advantage of free taster sessions. Then when you’re ready to join, there’s a wide range of membership options to suit you.

 

Extras

The modern clubhouse has a licensed Bar, large TVs showing all the major sporting events as well as a table tennis table and a pool table. The clubhouse is the setting for many of the club’s social events. These include Bridge Days, Quiz Nights, and Christmas party.
