Roehampton Club
Roehampton Club is a unique private members’ sports club, located in south-west London on the edge of Richmond Park. Golf, tennis, croquet and squash are the four core sports at the Club. Two swimming pools, state of the art gym, fitness studio, extensive junior activities make up the outstanding facilities.
The Club’s tennis programme is extensive and provides opportunities for social and match play via competitions, leagues, teams and Club nights.
Social Play
The Club has a great range of tennis courts. These include real grass, synthetic grass, acrylic courts, smash courts and indoor carpet courts. Two mini courts are also available for children. Plus some of the outdoor courts are covered in the winter. So you can play all year round, regardless of the weather!
So whenever you want to play, there are always a free court for members to use. There’s also many weekly club sessions, which encourage all to mix in and play some tennis against other members.
Coaching
Tennis Director, Danny Sitton runs a comprehensive tennis coaching programme. This includes group coaching takes place every week during term time for all ages and standards.
In addition, Roehampton’s 16 tennis Professionals all offer individual coaching for adults and juniors.
Competitive Tennis
Roehampton Club tennis teams compete in both County and National competitions. There are also annual competitions and tournaments.
And as a result, if you’re looking for competitive play opportunities, the club offers a wide range for all levels and ages.
Membership
Roehampton Club is home to an impressive range of sports facilities, a variety of games and activities, experienced staff and social events. The club offers the opportunity for Members, their friends and family to come together for competition, coaching, fun and relaxation.
Potential Members are encouraged to visit for a Club Tour. When you’ve made the decision to join, you will then need to submit application forms, a registration fee and supporting paperwork.
