Windsor Lawn Tennis Club

First established in Belfast in 1901, Windsor Lawn Tennis Club started play on real grass! While the grass has long since been replaced by astroturf, the club still holds on to it’s founding values and ethos. Today club also includes squash and a fitness suite as well as the new ‘SuperDome’ covered courts, which allow for year round play. With so many excellent facilities, it’s easy to see why the club is considered to have the best up-to-date sports facilities in Ireland.

 

Social Play

The friendly members enjoy regular social tennis. There are regular and very successful Club afternoons and evenings. The weekly program has various sessions for Seniors and Juniors alike.

 

Coaching

Three highly qualified coaches offer a range of Juniors and Seniors tennis development programmes. So, regardless of your age, if you want to improve your serve, back or work on general techniques, there’s a coaching session for you. Plus, all coaches are also available for private coaching.

 

Competitive Tennis

Well regarded for it’s competitive tennis, Windsor Tennis Club Belfast has always attracted top-class players. Many of who have represented Ulster and Ireland at various levels, in multiple competitions. Locally, the Windsor A team regularly compete for the top spot in the Northern Ireland Belfast and District League. And as a result, there are many club teams competing both locally and across the country. This provides a range of opportunities for all levels of tennis players.

 

Membership

As the club has a wide range of facilities, a range membership options are available. From a one month trial membership, to Family, Adult as well as off peak and gym only. You can choose to pay either on a monthly or annual basis.

 

Extras

Finally, Roger Henry now offers an in-house stringing service, which ensure your racket preform to the highest standards.
