Downshire Tennis Club
Located in Lisburn, Downshire Tennis Club’s purpose is to introduce people to tennis. And so that means all ages, abilities and social and ethnic backgrounds can enjoy a healthy sport for life. Members enjoy competitive and social play and friendships flourish.
Social Play
There’s social tennis Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoon. Both of these sessions are turn up and mix in. And if that’s not enough tennis for you then courts are easy to book for your own use. The club also runs Ladies mornings and other social tennis session throughout the year.
Coaching
Smash Tennis Academy offers coaching for all levels and ages. So you can grow and develop no matter your starting point. There’s also Weekly Tennis Fit Sessions – ‘Learn while you burn’. Private lessons are also available.
Competitive Tennis
The club has a strong focus on competitive play. There’s a range of Internal leagues and social tournaments throughout the year, for all abilities. As well as competitive external league teams, made up of mixed, veterans, winter and singles leagues.
Membership
With a thriving membership of all ages, Downshire Tennis Club welcomes everyone interested in play tennis to join. On offer is a range of memberships, all of which are affordable and there’s no joining fees.
