Thorn Park Lawn Tennis Club
Thorn Park Lawn Tennis Club has served the local community for over 90 years. The club continues to be a friendly and welcoming place to enjoy your tennis. Located in a quiet, leafy suburban conservation area, the club has first rate facilities. The club offers a superb range of year round tennis. This includes an extensive coaching programme for adults and children. As well as Teams in the West of Scotland Leagues.
Social Play
As many member enjoy playing socially, it’s easy to get a game. There are also weekly social tennis sessions, which are a great way to keep playing. And beca0use there’s good court availability, you’re welcome to play as often as you like!
Coaching
The coaching team headed up Jordan Gray, a former international player. The team run an extensive coaching programme. Starting with Mini tennis, which uses smaller courts and equipment to teach kids the basis of tennis. Juniors and adults can also continue to develop their playing. There’s even holiday camps for the kids!
Competitive Tennis
Currently, 4 senior mens and 4 senior ladies teams are competing at all levels across west of Scotland leagues. 17 junior teams also compete for the club. And so there’s many opportunities for those who wish to play competitively.
Membership
Since 8 different membership types are avilable, whether you’re 4 or 40, Thorn Park Lawn Tennis Club is open to you! Fees are affordable and there are no joining fees.
