Sandy Point Tennis
Sandy Point Tennis is a community tennis court on Sandy Point, Hayling Island run by the residents, for the residents. This is a community facility, paid for and maintained by residents.
Social Play
While you can always book the court for your own games, members are very friendly and so you are welcome to arrange games with other. Also as a small club, there is plenty of court time for you to book. However, as unlit court, members mainly enjoy playing in the summer and in the day time during winter.
Coaching
Sadly, Sandy Point Tennis does not offer any tennis coaching. So, if that’s top of your list, you may want to consider other local tennis clubs.
Competitive Tennis
As with coaching, there’s no competitive action on offer. However, other local club do offer a range of league play and internal tournaments. So, if you’re after a challenge, then take a look at other local tennis clubs.
Membership
With very low membership fees, Sandy Point Tennis is affordable to all. In addition to being able to play tennis at the club, members can also enter the Wimbledon ballot.
Extras
Members enjoy meeting off court a few times a year for a social event.
