Appeti Tennis

Founded in 1998 by Eb Appeti, the central aim of Appeti Tennis club is to provide better opportunities for young people to get involved in tennis and develop as players.

 

Since then Appeti have put together a team of committed professionals. All tutors share a passion for tennis and a vision to change the way in which tennis is promoted and coached. The centre’s “Fresh Approach to Tennis” has provided free tennis to over 20,000 children in Kent and Sussex.

 

Social Play

Courts are easy to book on a pay and play basis. And because both outdoor and indoor courts are available you can play all year round, regardless of the weather.

 

Coaching

By placing junior tennis at the forefront of the programme, Appeti are able to provide a unique playing environment for young people. While providing the essential support, coaching and court time required to succeed in tennis. Adult also have access to the highly trained staff, with both group and individual coaching sessions available. Also, if you don’t have the equipment, Appeti Tennis have some spares you can borrow.

 

Competitive Tennis

Each year Appeti Tennis host it’s own club tournament. This friendly yet competitive event enables all to challenge themselves. However, the club does not compete in local leagues.

 

Membership

There is no membership or basic standard just simply pay as you go. So whether you need a court or some coaching, call the centre to book. And if you need some equipment, visit the pro shop!

 

Extras

In 2013, Appeti opened a Tennis School in partnership with The Canterbury Academy. This partnership enables Appeti to offer a full time programme of tennis and education.
