Margate Lawn Tennis Club has an outstanding reputation as an extremely social and friendly club while also maintaining an exceptional standard of tennis. The club boasts a wonderful setting, maintained to very high standards, with the most sheltered courts in East Kent.
Social Play
As a member you have access to the courts whenever you feel like playing a game or two. You also can join in weekly social tennis session along with other members.
Coaching
The Club is highly active in encouraging juniors of all levels to play, with various coaching schemes in place for Juniors and adults alike. This programme is lea by a very experienced coaching team, which includes the club’s own full time coach.
Competitive Tennis
With a range of teams in local leagues, if you’re looking for more match play, then the club offers a number of opportunities.
Membership
While Margate Lawn Tennis Club does charge a small joining fee, overall membership costs are affordable. Adult membership, for example, costs just over £3 per week. And of course, the club offers a range of membership options which cater to all types of tennis players.

In the clubhouse, you’ll find the bar, which players can retire to for a well earned drink, all at very reasonable prices!
