Barnt Green Sports Club

Often described as the best kept secret in the Midlands, Barnt Green Sports Club is situated at the foot of the Lickey Hills, in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Primarily a racket sports club, Barnt Green has excellent playing facilities in Tennis, Badminton and Squash.

 

Social Play

There’s a range of social tennis throughout the week. On Saturday mornings, all members are welcome to join in. Men meet for social tennis on Wednesday nights. For the ladies, there’s sessions on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings.

 

Coaching

There are regular group coaching session including Cardio Tennis, Also The club has a very successful junior coaching program with 5 junior Aegon league teams. Juniors can take part in the club’s mini tennis leagues and tournaments.

 

Competitive Tennis

Mens and Ladies teams play competitive tennis both in the winter and summer Hereford and Worcester leagues. Men’s A team play in division 2 in the summer and 2 in the winter. Two mixed teams also compete in local leagues. As a result of strong rankings over the years, Barnt Green Sports Club is always on the look for more

 

Membership

It will come as a no surprise that as a all inclusive club, Barnt Green offers a range of membership options. Fees depends on the number of sports you would like to play and your age. However, there is no joining fee and becoming a member is easy.

The clubhouse has a bar, perfect relaxing and is used to hold social events throughout the year.
