Barton Tennis Club

Founded in 1922, Barton Tennis club is a fantastic community sports club.  Located at the Holland Sports Club in Staffordshire, members have access to a number of sports including football and rugby. In terms of tennis, the club offers a range of activities including regular social play, competitive action as well as coaching.

 

In 2019, the club upgraded 3 courts to the latest carpet surface. The members enjoy this new surface and regular socials. From beginners to experienced , everyone is welcome.

 

Social Play

Each week there are two social tennis sessions on Wednesdays evenings and on Sunday mornings. These sessions allow all members to play in a friendly yet competitive environment. And as tennis is for everyone, come and try the club out at a social session.

 

Coaching

Zoe Edwards is the club’s coach. She has designed a fantastic coaching programme for all ages and standards. So, there is no better time than now to improve your game play and technique. Kids also benefit from a number of holiday camp throughout the year.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club competes in the Burton and District leagues with 6 teams (mens, ladies and mixed teams) which start in April and go through to September. So all standards of players have opportunities to engage in a range of match play.

 

Membership

Barton Tennis Club offers a range of membership options. Therefore all types of tennis player can enjoy playing at the club. The club also offer pro-rata membership.

The club also has it’s own range of sports wear!
