Belfast Boat Club

Belfast Boat Club is a unique sports club on the edge of the River Lagan in Stranmillis. Tennis, Rowing, Squash, Fitness gym and Studio, and more are available.

 

Whether you have never played tennis before, are a seasoned pro or something in between, Belfast Boat Club has something for you! Plus, with indoor and outdoor courts, the club’s excellent facilities will enable you to grow as a player.

 

Social Play

Chris Sanlon organises regular club play. These relaxed and friendly afternoon sessions provide the perfect setting to improve your technique as well as meet other club members.

 

Coaching

The club offers a full range of coaching, including Cardio Tennis session. These are available for all levels both during the day and in the evenings. Members enjoy a significant discount.

 

Competitive Tennis

There are regular social internal tournaments. These provide a friendly yet competitive environment and often end with music and food. In addition, twice a year the club hosts a internal league.

 

For those who want to move to the next stage, teams compete in the Belfast and District Lawn Tennis Leagues. Singles, mixed and Summer teams all compete at a variety of levels.

 

Membership

Full membership including all sports and social facilities starts from just £282 per year (Over 18). And if you’re not happy after three months, you will receive a refund!

 

Extras

Full racket stringing and grips service available for members and non-members through fully qualified racket stringer. Finally, indoor and outdoor courts are available to hire for schools, youth groups or corporate events with a full range of optional extras available.
