Bexleyheath Tennis Club

Founded in 1923, Bexleyheath Tennis Club operates as part of Bexleyheath Sports Club, which consists of Tennis, Cricket, Hockey & Running. As one of Kent’s premier private members club, a full range of both social and competitive tennis is available for all standards and ages. The club’s courts available throughout the year. A friendly and professional service to members and non-members alike.

 

Social Play

There are plenty of opportunities to play and at regular mix-in sessions, which are run from the end of March to November on Saturdays and Wednesdays. These session are an excellent way to meet other members, play some competitive but friendly social tennis, and experience the club’s friendly atmosphere.

 

Coaching

Coaching sessions are available for those wanting to get into tennis, get back in to it, or improve their play in general. The club’s coach, David McGonigle is LTA and PTR Qualified with over ten years coaching experience working with beginners, standard and performance level players of all ages.

 

Competitive Tennis

A range of competitive play is available. 2 men’s teams compete in the North Kent league. As well as a single team in the North Kent winter men’s league.

 

Membership

You are welcome to try the club before becoming a member. A number of annual and pro-rata options are available. So there is no reason to delay joining.

 

Extras

As a fantastic community sports club, a range of social events take place throughout the year.
