Bognor Lawn Tennis Club

Bognor Lawn Tennis Club was founded in the 1880’s on the site of a meadow by Church Path in Lyon Street, Bognor Regis. Today the original site is occupied by St Mary’s School. Today, the attractive surroundings of Bognor Lawn Tennis Club include five all-weather hard courts, all of which are floodlit, two croquet lawns and a new pavilion. There is a fantastic year-round range of activities and events.

 

Social Play

Regular club session allow members to mix in and play some tennis while catching up with other members. Adult members benefit from four weekly sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings, Friday evenings and on Saturday afternoons. If you’re considering joining, then attend one or two sessions for free before deciding.

 

Coaching

Open to all, a range of tennis coaching programmes are available for juniors and adults, members and non-members. Kids start with LTA mini tennis, which teaches the basics of tennis. Whereas adults have access to specific group courses as well as individual lessons.

 

Competitive Tennis

Both mens and ladies team compete in the local Sussex County Leagues. In addition to these competitive opportunities, the club holds a number of tournaments and an annual club championship.

 

Membership

While there are many benefits of membership and many options available, the fees range from around £20 for minis, to over £200 for adults.However, you can choose to pay a one off fee or monthly.

Bognor Lawn Tennis Club is a an LTA Tennismark club. This means the club is recognised for it’s high standards and management.
