Bristol Central Tennis Club

Established in 1932, Bristol Central Tennis Club is a friendly members only tennis club, tucked away in a quiet location in central Bristol. The club caters for a tennis players beginners of all standards with social play, coaching and competitive opportunities.

 

Social Play

Busy club nights are at the heart of the club. And as a result, these regular social tennis session allow members to play some tennis and catch up with friends. Members can continue to play outside of this programme with plenty of court time available.

 

Coaching

A full range of coaching is available from a highly qualified team. Tots benefit from group session with smaller rackets, balls and courts. Juniors can develop and grow in their own group sessions. Whereas adults can join an improver courses, with two taking place each year. In addition there is a range of adult group coaching including Cardio Tennis. Private lessons are also available.

 

Competitive Tennis

Bristol Central Tennis Club enters teams in the Avon Tennis Leagues as well as hosting a number of club tournaments. So if you’re more of a competitive nature, there are a number of options.

 

Membership

Bristol Central Tennis Club offers a range of membership options including improver membership lasts for six months. Visitors are also welcome for a small fee.

 

Extras

As a sociable club members can often be found relaxing with a drink in the bar after playing.
