Coleshill Tennis and Sports Club
Set in a quiet corner of the West Midlands, near Biringham, Coleshill Tennis and Sports Club is a vibrant and friendly tennis club. Spectacular views over the picturesque Blythe Valley are visible from the courts.
Social Play
The club holds well attended Social Nights on four evenings each week. Tuesdays are for Ladies. Wednesdays are for Men. A mixed social takes place every Thursday. Finishing the week, Friday nights are for Juniors as well as adult Cardio Tennis. These nights provide opportunities for players of all standards to practise with other members in a relaxed atmosphere. Also, Sunday mornings provide an additional opportunity for further social tennis play.
Coaching
Matchpoint Sportz Ltd runs courses throughout the year at the club. Including Matchplay and Doubles Tactics coaching sessions for adult members and LTA inspired mini tennis for juniors. All coaches are highly qualified and experienced, ensuring you make good progress and have fun during the sessions.
Competitive Tennis
Many competitive teams of all standards represent the club all year round. And as a result, the teams are always on the look out for more players! Both mens and ladies compete in the Birmingham Summer League. As well as ladies and mixed teams in the Metropolitan Summer League. Mens teams also compete in the Coventry and District Lawn Tennis League. Finally, mens and ladies teams compete Warwickshire Veterans.
American Mixed Doubles tournaments take place every Bank Holiday weekend as well as on other occasions. Plus, with numerous Open and Closed events for Ladies’, Men’s and Mixed Tennis, Coleshill provides many opportunities for the ambitious competitive player. Juniors have many chances to compete with teams at all ages and abilities in internal and external matches, as well as entering Juniors in Aegon team tennis tournaments.
Membership
A range of club membership is offered. Each class offers many benefits as well as value for money. Members have access to cheaper coaching, free access to courts at all times, and the possibility of playing competitively in a club team. Visitors are also welcome for a small fee and are able to play up to 5 times before having to join.
