Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Association
Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Association welcomes tennis, squash, and social members to the club. Non-members are just as welcome at the club. The club rich history dates back to 1885. However, the club today offers modern facilities and an exciting tennis programme.
Social Play
If you’re looking for more opportunities to play tennis, then the club runs four adult social play sessions each week. All of these are turn up and mix in. Members meet on Monday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, Friday mornings as well as on Sunday mornings. Juniors also have their own weekly club session, which takes place on Saturday afternoon. Therefore regardless of your age or your diary, you can always play tennis each week!
Coaching
While the club does not offer coaching for all, there is an active programme for juniors and ladies coaching on a Thursday mornings. Juniors of all ages have access to extensive coaching programme which starts with mini tennis for kids as young as 4 yr. As they grow in age and develop their skills, the lessons are progressive harder and juniors who show promise have the chance to join performance squads and coaching.
Competitive Tennis
The club annually holds open junior and senior tennis tournaments with players from all over the UK coming to the centre to compete. The club is also the venue of the AEGON Summer County Cup.
Membership
Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Association offers a number of monthly membership packages including squash only. However, annual options are also available. Non-members can also hire courts for a small fee.
Extras
The club also offers squash and racketball coaching and weekly table tennis all sports sections compete in Norfolk leagues.
