Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club

Situated in the heart of Eastbourne, Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club is surrounded by trees and gardens. The club is only a tennis ball throw away from the town centre and seafront. The Devonshire Park opened its gates to the public on July 1, 1874. The following year and for the first time, a tennis court was marked out on its prestigious lawns.

The club today offers a fantastic year round programme which includes regular club sessions, coaching and match play. As well as being the home of the AEGON Eastbourne International. Competition

Social Play

Whehther you want to book a court for your own game or join in at a club session, there are many opportunities each week to do both. And as the courts are open to non-members, everyone is able to enjoy the club’s world class facilities. Plus with friendly members, you’ll never be short of a game.

The club’s coaching programme is led by Mårten Renstrum. His team offer a range of coaching for all ages and abilities. So whatever your age or current standard, Mårten will help you to develop your playing and reach your goals.

Competitive Tennis

As the home of many tournaments, members are able to challenge themselves with match play. And while you might be up to WTA standard, the club’s tournaments will enable you to compete for victory on the same courts!

While non-members can hire courts, joining Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club is affordable and easy. And since the club offers a range of membership, all are welcome.

The complex is the host of the annual ATP and WTA Tour tournament, often referred to as the AEGON Eastbourne International. So, even though you may only use the courts for social play, you will be in fact playing on some of the country’s best tennis courts.
