Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club
Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club is a friendly and sociable club where all ages and abilities are welcome. In existence since 1949, the club is run by it’s members for it’s members. Whether you are looking for team or social play, or wanting to brush up your skills with some coaching, Dorchester Tennis & Squash Club is for you.
Social Play
Members really enjoy the three weekly social play sessions. In addition to providing regular play, these session allow members to play without pre-booking a court while playing a few games of tennis and meeting other members. It’s also easy to book courts online and there’s plenty of free court time outside the club’s programme.
Coaching
The club runs a busy coaching programme for both seniors and juniors. On a Thursday morning, there is a drop-in coaching sessions for adults.
Competitive Tennis
In addition to regular social play there are regular tennis tournaments. As well as club teams in the Aegon National leagues, Dorset League and Yeovil & District League. And as a result, if you’re looking more match play, there is a range of offer.
Membership
There are a variety of memberships available at Dorchester Tennis and Squash Club, including full club, tennis only, day only and social. Therefore the club caters to all standards and ages.
Extras
The inviting clubhouse overlooks the tennis courts and has a bar, shop, and changing rooms. As a superb social club, a number of non-sport events take place throughout the year.
