Ely Tennis Club

Ely Tennis Club is a small club with high standards and high goals. Set up in 1989, the club is community focused not-for-profit club committed to making tennis available to everybody in and around Ely.


The club offers junior and adults coaching courses, enabling players to develop their game as well as having fun. A number of teams representing the Club, playing teams around the County both home and away. Last, but not least, there are a number of social events throughout the year.


Social Play

Members enjoy meeting on court each week for social play. These sessions are a great way to work on your game while meeting new people. Also, Courts may be booked by non-members for a small amount.



10is Academy is the club’s coaching partner. Club members receive discounts on coaching rates. Junior members and Family members receive a number of free sessions with 10is as part of their membership packages. 10is runs coaching courses for all ages throughout the year.


Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for match play, then Ely Tennis Club offers a range. Mens, ladies and mixed teams compete in the local LTA Cambridgeshire Leagues. There is also an annual championship.



Ely Tennis Club offers various packages of membership. So whether you’re an adult, family or junior, it’s easy to join the club. Fees are affordable with adult membership costing less than £1 per week.



The club is just as busy off court as it is on court. There are regular social events including Line dancing, Quiz nights, and Christmas meal.
