Ferndown Tennis Club
Ferndown Tennis Club is a friendly community club, based at courts next to the King George V playing fields in Ferndown. Members range from four years old to 87! The club cater for all abilities.
Club sessions take place all year on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings. As well as on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
The club has a thriving coaching programme run by Chris Biddle, a LTA Level 4 licensed coach. Open to all ages, Chris will enable you to develop your tennis skills and confidence.
Teams play in summer and winter tennis leagues. And as a result the club is always on the lookout for players to join mens, mixed, ladies and ladies veterans teams. There is also an annual club tournament in September, which is always popular, fun and very competitive!
At Ferndown Tennis Club, the benefits of membership far outweigh the cost. Juniors can join the club for less than 20 pence per week. Adults, pay less than a £1 per week for membership.
The club has a strong social section, with a lunch arranged for the last Friday of every month and regular organised walks through the beautiful local area. In addition, members meet for quiz and skittles evenings.
