Fulbourn Tennis Club

Located south-east of Cambridge, Fulbourn Tennis Club can be easily found at the Fulbourn Recreation Ground. Affiliated to Fulbourn Institute Sports and Social Club, members have access to a range of facilities including a bar and children’s play area. The Recreation Ground is also home to a football club, cricket club and bowls club.

 

The club offers social tennis sessions, friendly matches as well as club competitions and much more!

 

Social Play

Four weekly club sessions run all year. These are open to Full Members and Older Juniors. There are two evening sessions which take place on Monday and Wednesday, as well as two day time sessions on Monday and Friday mornings. During the summer there is an additional social tennis session on a Saturday afternoons. All of these are well supported, welcoming and provide a weekly opportunity to play tennis.

 

Coaching

If you want to improve your game then both adult and junior coaching are also available. In addition to regular group coaching course, the highly qualified team are also available for private lessons.

 

Competitive Tennis

Teams from Fulbourn Tennis Club compete in the Cambridge Summer, Winter and Veteran Leagues. Teams also compete in the Grays cup. If you’re not quite up to match standard, then the club holds a few friendly yet semi-competitive tournaments each year.

 

Membership

Five types of membership are available including family and off peak. This means whatever your age or ability, you can easily join the club. Visitors can play  up to 5 times for a small fee before being required to join.
