Located in Romford, Gidea Park Lawn Tennis Club was established over 70 years ago on its present site in the middle of the conservation area.
In addition tooffering a superb range of tennis, the club hosts regular social events and even has a cosy bar in the clubhouse.
Social Play
Since many members simply want to get relax with a friendly game of tennis, there are many weekly sessions. In addition to these opportunities, it’s easy to book courts for your own games.
Coaching
Both individual coaching and group lessons for people of all standards are available. There are also various evenings for beginner and improving players. There are really many great opportunities to improve and develop your skills, should you wish.
Competitive Tennis
The club runs a variety of competitions throughout the year. These range from a weekly league style doubles ladder through Handicap and Veterans events. As well as annual Open Club Championship.
Membership
Gidea Park Lawn Tennis Club welcomes new members and unlike many other clubs, there are no ‘assessments’ or ‘playing in tests’. However, there is a small joining fee. The club offers a massive 10 membership packages and so caters for all. So consider joining today!
