Gilnahirk Tennis Club
Gilnahirk Tennis Club has been a significant feature of sporting life in East Belfast for over fifty years. Situated in the grounds of Bloomfield School, the club offers tennis all year round. The club has small yet active membership with a strong Junior section.
Social Play
Members meet for social play on a week day evening as well as on a Saturday. These relaxed session enable members to play some tennis while meeting other members and improving their technique. Juniors meet during the summer months on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
Coaching
While the club may not have a full time coach, coaching can be arranged on request. This is great news if you want to improve your game but don’t know where to start.
Competitive Tennis
Teams from Gilnahirk Tennis Club compete in the Belfast and District leagues. And therefore, the club is always on the look out for more competitive tennis players. The annual club tournaments is the highlight of the club’s calendar.
Membership
As a fantastic community sports club, membership fees are affordable and encourage all to play the great game of tennis. Discounts are available for families and there are no joining fees.
