Globe Lawn Tennis Club
Globe Lawn Tennis Club is the only Tennis Club in Hampstead and a little oasis in the heart of Belsize Park. An international tennis club with a very vibrant sports and social life. The club is surrounded by wonderful gardens. Included in the club’s annual programme is many sporting and social activities, as well as tournaments and social tennis. New members are always welcome, so why not come and visit!
Social Play
Social tennis groups meet on Tuesday and Friday mornings all year round. Every Wednesday evening, members for social tennis which consists of short games. As one of the highlights of the club’s week, these sessions are always popular! All ages and abilities are welcome to join in and following the enjoyable evening of tennis, the resident chef cooks a delicious meal!
Coaching
A number of highly qualified coaches are available for lessons at Globe Lawn Tennis Club. So, if your serve needs some work or you would like some tips on your match play, then help is available. The Globe also has a very vibrant junior section and aims to inspire the next generation.
Competitive Tennis
But for those who want to play competitively, the Globe boasts the best men’s and ladies’ teams in the county! Teams are active in both local and national tournaments during the summer and winter months. And there’s also a range of club tournaments for members to take part in.
Membership
Globe Lawn Tennis Club caters for players of all ages and has a thriving junior section. The fees and joining subscriptions are on a sliding scale depending on the age and category of membership. There are joining fees and you will have to take part in a short play-in session in order to become a member.

As well as the excellent tennis facilities, the club has a bar and a restaurant! Quite simply you’ll love being a member and won’t want to leave!
