Located in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gosforth Lawn Tennis Club offers all year round play in a warm and friendly atmosphere. From social tennis and events to competitive matches in the local leagues. All ages and abilities are welcome to the club.
Social Play
Weekly club sessions take place all year round and all are welcome. So regardless of your standard, if you want to get on court more, you have plenty of opportunities. Plus it’s easy to use a court for your own games.
Coaching
Gosforth has 2 LTA qualified coaches who provide a comprehensive coaching programme for all age and standards. There’s also has a thriving Junior. So whatever your age, if you want to improve your skills then there’s plenty going on.
Competitive Tennis
A number of club teams compete in local leagues and therefore if you want to play more matches, there are opportunities available. The club also hosts its own annual championships.
Membership
There’s a range of memberships available Gosforth Lawn Tennis Club. Such as coaching membership for those who want to take advantage of the club’s coaching. Of course, the club offers Adult, Junior and Family membership options. All options are affordable with adult membership costing £2 per week.
