Greenford Tennis Club
Founded in 1928, Greenford Tennis Club is situated behind houses the Club ground is free from traffic noise and has a ‘country’ atmosphere to it. You can join in with the club’s exciting year round programme.
Social Play
With floodlit courts, you can enjoy playing all year round. So whether you want to join in a club session or book of your own court, you have plenty of opportunities to play tennis.
Coaching
The club’s LTA qualified coach runs a range of group lessons as well as one-to-one lessons. For the juniors, there are weekly group coaching sessions. Adults who have just started tennis, or who are a bit “rusty”, then a Novices section meets on Friday evenings.
Competitive Tennis
The club is active in local competitions. There is one Mens team and one Ladies team who compete in the Middlesex Leagues. As well as teams in Aegon Team Tennis League.
Membership
The Club is run by volunteers. This means that subscription fees are very low. While there is a joining fee, membership is affordable. For example, adult membership costs a little over £2 per week.
Extras
There is more to do at Greenford Tennis club than play tennis. Social events held throughout the year and the clubhouse has a superb bar. Plus, the lawn area is great for summer BBQs, or for just watching the tennis.
