Hartlepool Lawn Tennis Club
Established in 1884, Hartlepool Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest surviving tennis clubs in the world. It is a friendly family club, suitable for all from beginners and social players to match players. The club nestles in the centre of a quiet residential area of Hartlepool.
Social Play
Adults meet for social tennis on Monday and Thursday mornings. as well as Tuesday evenings. If you’re new to the club or a beginner, then there are sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
Coaching
The club has an excellent coaching programme with sessions covering juniors to adults and from beginners to advanced.
The Club has a flourishing Junior section. There are sessions throughout the summer when Juniors can come along and play mini-tennis or junior tennis. And and even table tennis!
Competitive Tennis
Men’s and Ladies’ teams play in the Durham and Cleveland League. And so if you’re looking for more match play, the club offers a variety of opportunities.
Membership
There are a number of membership types, including: senior, family, student, unemployed, country and junior. Membership offers best value but you can also simply ‘pay and play’ using the club’s online booking system.
