Chilton and Sedgefield Tennis Club
Chilton and Sedgefield Tennis Club is a small local club which offers coaching, social play and competitive tennis in local leagues. The club has access to four tennis courts situated at the Chilton Miners Welfare Recreation Ground.
The location is within easy reach of local towns such as Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Ferryhill, Durham, Stockton-on-Tees and Billingham.
In addition to weekly club play, club members have access to the courts at any time. Don’t worry if you’re not quite a member yet, as non-members are welcome to book courts for a small fee.
Both junior and adult coaching are vailable at the club and all equipment is provided. There are also regular free coaching opportunities throughout the year for all ages.
Men’s and ladies club teams are active in local competitions and leagues. And as a result, the club is always on the lookout for more competitive players.
Also, if you’re not yet ready to play in a league team, then there is a club championship, which is open to all.
Chilton and Sedgefield Tennis Club is a friendly club, which is always looking for new members of any age (you can start playing at 3 years old!) or ability. So, come on down and try the club’s great new facilities for yourself.
