Heaton Mersey Tennis Club

Heaton Mersey Tennis Club is a great place for tennis within the Stockport area. The club is extremely welcoming and whatever your standard of play, you are certain of a very warm welcome.

 

The club, which is part of The Heatons Sports Club, shares the clubhouse with Heaton Mersey Cricket Club, Heaton Mersey Lacrosse Club and Heaton Moor Rugby Club. Should you wish to join another club, then preferential rates apply!

 

Social Play

The club hosts 3 popular, turn up and mix in sessions each week. These are for all standards on Saturday Mornings, Sunday Afternoons and Wednesday Evenings throughout the year. If you’re unsure whether to join, then you’re able to join in at three social sessions before having to join.

 

Coaching

Coaching at the club is provided Bee Tennis who offer members an active coaching programme for all ages and abilities. Juniors start and work through LTA mini tennis. This programme uses small equipment to teach the basics. Then for older juniors and adults, a range of group and private lessons are available. Coaching is only available to members.

 

Competitive Tennis

Several club tournaments take place through the year. Also, the club provides competitive tennis with 4 Mens and 2 Ladies teams in the North East Cheshire Lawn Tennis League. There is also a Ladies team in the South Manchester League. As well as a Men’s Team in the Aegon Club league.

 

Membership

As Heaton Mersey Tennis Club offers a number of membership options, all are welcome at the club. Regardless of age, standard or requirements. Guests are welcome up to 6 visits and for a small fee.
