Hemingfords Lawn Tennis Club
Whether you are interested in social tennis, or league tennis, Hemingfords Lawn Tennis Club is pleased to welcome everyone of any ability. The club has a wide membership some of whom are local, other comes from St Ives and surrounding villages.
Social Play
During the summer, there are two club sessions a week, on a Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. During the winter there are some indoor sessions, which are very popular. Outside these club events, there’s plenty of court time for you to use to play with friends.
Coaching
Also, a designated junior organiser arranges activities for younger club members including coaching during the summer months on a Saturday morning. These session aim to develop children from a young age using fun and exciting game play.
Competitive Tennis
There is the opportunity for league match play in the local Huntingdon and Peterborough league. As well as in club tournaments, which take place throughout the year.
Membership
To encourage juniors we have a ‘junior’ and ‘student’ membership and to promote family involvement we have a special rate for family membership. We also have a ‘parent’ membership to enable a parent to play with their child without having to be a full adult member.
