Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club

Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club is a small friendly sports club located in north west Bristol. The club is highly active with regular club play, match play and coaching.

Social Play

While it’s easy to book courts for private games, the club meets for adult social tennis on a Sunday afternoon. This is an excellent way to play regularly, meet new people and work on your game. Plus as a friendly club, new members will feel welcome. Juniors also have the chance to play in a weekly club session in the summer months.

Coaching

As a small club, you would be mistaken to think that only basic coaching is available. Over the year the club has produced many excellent national players. The current head coach is Ondrej Toman, who is an LTA ICA Level 4 coach. Based around small group, the club coaching programme enables individuals to develop their technique quicker and get results.

Competitive Tennis

While many club members simply enjoy playing in social session, some want a challenge. And as result, Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club offers a range of competitive tennis. This includes league play in the local Avon Tennis League as well as club tournaments.

Membership

Since there are no joining fees and many discounts are available, becoming a member is easy. Also with multiple membership options, Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club caters for all ages and standards.
