Highgate Tennis
Highgate Tennis, part of Highgate Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club and was 2015 Middlesex LTA Club Award Winner. It has a vibrant atmosphere, thriving social scene, great facilities and is where you can play lots of tennis, whatever your level!
Social Play
There are activities all week and all year round. Turn up, play and mix in with other members for doubles. All levels can join in and it’s a great way to meet people at the club. In summer the club holds four weekly session. Two weekly sessions take place in winter. Members can also arrange their own games outside club sessions.
Coaching
If you’re looking to improve your game play, then there are plenty of opportunities whatever your level. Group coaching and individual lessons are both available. So, if you want to work on your serve or tactical play, the excellent coaches are on hand to help.
Children get the best start with mini tennis. And as they advance, juniors who are playing competitions and want to train regularly can be invited to join a performance programme. In addition to weekly after school lessons, children can join in at the many holiday camps, which take place throughout the year.
Competitive Tennis
Highgate Tennis thrives on its competitive spirit! Internally, the club hosts a year-round singles ‘ladder’ league and winter doubles leagues. As well as a prestigious summer tournaments. Team also compete in local leagues.
Membership
While there is a joining fee, the club offers many types of membership including Adult, Junior and Family. You can even purchase life time membership! Combined cricket and tennis membership is also available. Visitors are welcome at the club for a small fee.
Extras
As the club is largely run by volunteers, it is Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASC) registered. Also, Highgate Tennis holds a ClubMark Quality Club Accreditation.
