Lifetime Tennis – Southfields Community Tennis Club
Looking to develop your tennis game? Then the coaching programmes at Southfields Community Tennis Club are available for all ages and levels. The centre is run by Lifetime Tennis, who aim to make tennis a more accessible, affordable and inclusive sport within London.
Social Play
The weekly programme contains many drop-in social play sessions each week. Players of all standards can turn up and play with others of a similar level while receiving some coaching and enjoying a few games. You can also book courts for your own games. And thanks to the floodlit courts, you can enjoy playing tennis all year round.
Coaching
The club runs a comprehensive range of coaching available. This programme includes courses on Mini tennis for children from the age of 4, up to Adult sessions, which provide structured training and practice sessions. So regardless of your standard, help is available should you wish to improve.
Competitive Tennis
Players of all standard have the opportunity try match play at Lifetime Tennis. Improver and intermediate level players can compete in the club’s Doubles League which take places at Lambeth Academy. And players of a more advanced level can join the Lifetime Tennis Team, who compete in the LTA Aegon Surrey Leagues.
Membership
Everything at Lifetime Tennis – Putney Community Tennis Club is available on a pay and play basis. Therefore if you only want to take part in a course, then you simply pay for that. If you can’t commit to a coaching programme, then the drop in sessions enable you to play as and when you can. And because the fees are very affordable, you can enjoy playing tennis all year round.
