Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club
Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club is still flourishing after 96 years. There are still a number of older members who fondly remember playing on the courts when the only surface was grass (the grass courts were later removed to make way for the indoor bowling club). Today, members play all the year round on an all weather surface.
Social Play
There are regular club nights for both adult members and for juniors. So, if you are a budding Henman or Murray or can still remember who Fred Perry was, why don’t you dig out that racket and come down for a set or two? It doesn’t matter how old you are or how you play – just as long as you do!
Coaching
Although the club currently does not have a resident coaches, the chairman run two coaching sessions per week. One is for junior members, the other is for adults.
Competitive Tennis
For the last three years the club has two league teams and the first team have won the league every year for the last three. And as a result, the club is always on the lookout for more competitive tennis players to join the teams.
Membership
While you can can enjoy the facilities at Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club on a pay and play basis, membership provides many benefits. It’s not only tremendous value for money but enables you to join in with all the club’s activities.
