Long Ashton Tennis Club
Long Ashton Tennis Club founded in 1970, is a small, friendly club. The club is one of a number of sports facilities situated adjacent to Long Ashton Community Centre. The facilities at the centre include a football pitch, bowling green, play park, and multi-purpose arena. As well as meeting rooms and a cafe. In addition many fitness classes take place each week. In terms of tennis, the club offers a range of activities from regular social play, to coaching and match play.
Social Play
Every week, members meet for a few games at a social tennis session. These informal events enable all to work on their tennis while meeting new people.
Coaching
If you’re looking to improve your game or technique, then coaching is available. The club’s LTA qualified coach runs lessons for both juniors and adult.
Competitive Tennis
Since the club is affiliated with the LTA, teams compete in the local Avon Winter and Veteran Leagues. This provides a range of competitive opportunities for all tennis players.
