Longthorpe Lawn Tennis Club
Set in an attractive, quiet location in the village of Longthorpe near Peterborough, Longthorpe Lawn Tennis Club offers club sessions in a relaxed and friendly environment. The club began after WWII, in around 1950, on land given to the village by the Fitzwilliam Estate.
Social Play
There are many club session each week including mixed sessions on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. As well as Ladies sessions on weekdays. Juniors also meet for a club session on Saturdays mornings.
Coaching
The coaching team is available for individual or group lessons. Kids start with the LTA Mini Tennis Programme, which teaches the basics from the beginning. Adults have an equally exciting range of coaching on offer.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of match play, many club teams compete in the Hunts and Peterborough League, The Don Brace Cup and also in the Peterborough Hardcourt League.
The Club holds it’s a club competition each year Singles, Ladies, Mens and Mixed Doubles.

With 4 types of membership at Longthorpe Lawn Tennis Club, whether you’re an adult, junior, student or senior, you’ll enjoy being part of the club. Fees are highly affordable and there’s no joining fees or requirements.

Numerous social events are held throughout the year including quizzes, BBQ, dances as well as having fun competitions days for adults and juniors.
