Lowlands Lawn Tennis Club
Lowlands Lawn Tennis Club is situated in the North-West London suburb of Eastcote, near Pinner. The original clubhouse and tennis courts were built in 1935 to serve the then new Nash housing estate.
The club hosts a number of activities including social events, tennis, table tennis, darts and snooker. It’s a friendly, vibrant and forward thinking club lucky enough to have a large number of members. Run voluntarily by members and for members.
Social Play
There are four tennis sections, which cover juniors and adults of all abilities. Each section has its own individual social sessions where players can mix in and play doubles with different players. There is also ample opportunity for players to arrange their own matches during free court time. American tournaments also take place during the year for all members.
Coaching
Lowlands has a strong coaching team providing individual lessons and group sessions for members and non-members. They actively support the junior section including arranging under 14 and under 18 teams.
Competitive Tennis
If you’re looking for more match play then there are a number of team in local leagues. In the summer men’s and women’s teams compete in the Middlesex summer league, the Middlesex Cup, and AEGON team tennis and senior leagues. In the winter teams include Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Seniors, Middlesex Cup and Junior teams.
There is an annual summer tournament for singles, doubles and mixed tennis including competitions for vets. Also, the club runs it’s own box leagues for players who enjoy competitive singles.
Membership
Lowlands Lawn Tennis Club offers 9 different membership types, so all are welcome to join. And since there are no joining fees or playing in tests, becoming a member is easy.
Extras
The clubhouse offers a bar, function hall and snooker room with 3 full-size tables. In addition to an exciting range of club socials, the hall is available for hire.
