Manchester Tennis and Racquet Club
Less than half a mile from Manchester city centre you will find the Grade II listed Victorian Building which is home to the Manchester Tennis and Racquet Club. Inside the venue, you will find a perfect example of a Victorian Sporting Club with many impressive original features which help make the club what it is.
The club offers real tennis, squash and other racket sports as well as a lively social programme.
Real tennis is one if the oldest ball games still played in the world, and has the longest line of consecutive world champions of any sport in the world.
Social Play
You can book a either court and enjoy a game with friends. Courts are available for either singles or doubles in one hour sessions. The professionals can organise opponents of a suitable standard if required.
Coaching
The club professionals are on hand to coach you to your full potential. Lessons can help you with game play, technique and so much more.
Competitive Tennis
There’s competitive opportunitites for all members, with internal competitions for both individually or part of the team. Those of a high handicap have the chance to play against other clubs against players of similar standard.
