Mapledurham Lawn Tennis Club
Originally formed in 1956, Mapledurham Lawn Tennis Club is a thriving, family-oriented tennis club based just off the Woodcote Road in Caversham, Reading and next to the Mapledurham playing fields. The club has a relaxed atmosphere and is open to all ages.
Social Play
Club nights for adults are on Mondays and Wednesdays. So you can enjoy mixing in with other members for a game or two, each week. Plus you have access to plenty of free court time each week, so get on court and enjoy tennis!
Coaching
Coaching is delivered by GDT, who offer a free trial to all members. They offer children’s and adult beginners courses. As well as courses for those returning to the game in later life. Private coaching is also available by arrangement with GDT.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of competition, the club has a number of teams, who are active in a range of leagues. So the club caters for various standards of competitive tennis.
Membership
While Mapledurham Lawn Tennis Club does charge a joining fee, membership rates are affordable with, adults paying less than £2 per week. Of course, the club offers a full range of packages and so caters to all ages and requirements.
