Northwood Lawn Tennis Club

Northwood Lawn Tennis Club is located in a peaceful area in the heart of Northwood, backing on to green parkland. The club has been providing tennis facilities for members since 1901.

 

Social Play

As there’s social mix-in tennis sessions four times a week. So, you don’t need to worry about having a partner, just turn up and play. These sessions are also open to guests and take place throughout the year on Tuesday evenings, Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.

 

Members can also arrange their own games at most other times.

 

Coaching

The club’s coaching partner SG Tennis has a wealth of experience providing individual and group lessons as well as cardio tennis. So whatever your standard, help if available, should you wish to develop your skills.

 

Competitive Tennis

Northwood Lawn Tennis Club has a number of teams, who compete at all levels in several tennis leagues. And so if you’re looking for more competitive play, the club offers a range.

 

Also, the club hosts a number of internal club tournaments each year.

 

Membership

Northwood Lawn Tennis Club offers a variety of memberships for all standards of play and all age groups as well as membership for those that just want to come along to the social events.

 

Extras

There are a number of purely social events, all members are welcome to attend, and are encouraged to get to know one another as much as possible. These events also provide opportunities for the continued support of the club.
