Pavilion Sports and Cafe

The Pavilion Sports and Café was founded in 2003 by Robby Sukhdeo, with the support of Haringey Council and the Friends’ Group FARRG. Robby has created a popular community facility that has seen a large increase in visitors to the Green Flag-winning park. Sports at The Pavilion include Football, Basketball, Tennis and Pavilion Runners as well as so much more!

Pavilion Tennis took over the very run down tennis courts at the Albert Road Recreation Ground in 2002. They began a coaching programme that has proved to be very successful from the outset. Robby and the team have have continued to build upon this and won the Lawn Tennis Association Park of the Year 2008!

All courts are available on a Pay and Play basis. So, anyone can book a court. Local tennis players are welcome to come into the Pavilion and book an available court on the day. However, if you hold a Pavilion Booking & Discount Card, then you can book courts up to 7 days in advanced.
