Pensford Tennis Club
Founded in 1990, Pensford Tennis Club leases part of a small site in the middle of a residential area of Pensford Avenue, Kew from Richmond Council. While the club’s amenities have greatly improved over recent years, the ethos hasn’t.
The club aim is to have an informal and non-intimidating atmosphere. And so, most activities have an important social dimension.
Social Play
There are regular social tennis sessions which are open to all, regardless of age or ability. Members also have easy access to courts for their own games.
Coaching
An extensive coaching programme is available. For the adults, there’s regular group courses and private lessons. As well as popular Pay and Play sessions and Cardio Tennis.
Juniors have access to a fantastic range of coaching including weekly group sessions, holiday camps and so much more!
Competitive Tennis
Pensford encourages all to try competitive play. Whether that be in a club tournament or a league team. Also, the club aims to run several adult and junior competitive tournaments throughout the year.
Membership
As a community club, Pensford Tennis Club offers many opportunities for local people to meet and socialise. The club is a great place to join if you’re new to the area, as members will help you integrate into the community. So as you might expect the club offers a number of membership options.
