Poynton Tennis Club is part of Poynton Sports Club. As the standard of players is mixed, the club is welcoming of all ages and abilities. The club runs a very successful coaching programme. Plus, more experienced players will find plenty of challenges too!
Social Play
If you’re looking to play more tennis, then join in at one of the two weekly club sessions. Both are open to non-members (for a small fee), so grab your racket and get on court!
Outside the club’s timetable, there’s plenty of slots free for members to arrange their own games. So you have a range of opportunities each week to play.
Coaching
POINT-ONE TENNIS, an independent tennis coaching company lead the club’s coaching programme. both individual and group coaching is available for adults and juniors. Each week a range of s sessions are available for beginners and improvers, with lessons available during the daytime or in the evening.
Competitive Tennis
In addition to the internal monthly American Tournaments and annual club championships, a number of teams compete in local leagues. And as a result, the club provides competitive opportunities to all ages and standards.
