Radyr Lawn Tennis Club

Located just 5 miles from Cardiff, Radyr Lawn Tennis Club is a very friendly and well established club. Voted Tennis Wales Club of the Year 2014! Run to LTA Clubmark standards, the club has a very comprehensive programme in place. There are regular club sessions, fantastic coaching as well as the chance to play in a club team.

 

Social Play

If you already have a partner, then booking a court is simple. However, if you want to meet new people and stay active then the club runs three social tennis sessions each week. Juniors have priority on Monday nights. Ladies meet on Tuesday evenings. And men meet on Thursday evenings.

 

Coaching

Radyr Lawn Tennis Club has a very comprehensive coaching programme to suit all levels of ability and both children and adults. In addition to regular group coaching sessions, individual lessons are available.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for more competitive play, then mens and ladies team compete in South Wales Cymru Kitchens League and Vets Winter League.And if you’re not quite ready for league play, then the club hosts an annual club tournament, which enables all to compete.

 

Membership

If you’re looking to join then new members receive a discount on the first year’s fees. 7 different membership types are available and mean all ages are catered for. 3 month membership is also available. Guest are welcome for a small fee and up to three time before having to join.

 

Extras

The clubhouse contains a function room and a well stocked Bar which has an excellent selection of draft ales, lager and cider at very reasonable prices.
