Ravenscroft Lawn Tennis Club

Located in High Barnet, Ravenscroft Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly sports community club. The courts have recently been resurfaced in 2016, which makes playing tennis more enjoyable. Ravenscroft offers lots of opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, including social tennis, tournaments and club competitions.

 

Social Play

You can play tennis all year round, with many social sessions available. Also you can turn up and play on free courts, whenever you wish and therefore can easily arrange your own games.

 

Coaching

Club coach, Steve Porter, has devised a coaching programme aimed at all ages and abilities. Individual lessons are available every day except on a Friday. There are also group lessons for adults and children every week. As well as a number of holiday camps for junior throughout the year.

 

Competitive Tennis

Team tennis at the club is important. 7 teams compete in local Watford and District League as well as the Middlesex League. Plus, there’s Internal Club Competitions throughout the year.

 

Membership

A number of membership packages are available at Ravenscroft Lawn Tennis Club. This includes full, junior and winter memberships. The club also offers an annual coaching membership, aimed at those who only want to improve their game play but don’t require full membership. In addition, guests are welcome at a cost of £3 per session.

In addition to a superb range of tennis, off the courts, there is a vibrant social calender.
