Rudgwick Lawn Tennis Club

The Rudgwick Lawn Tennis Club is located within the tranquil King George V playing fields at Bucks Green. The friendly club extends a warm welcome to all. There are opportunities for all ages and standards. The club’s programme has weekly club sessions, regular fun tournaments, and inter-club matches. As well as social events and a full programme of coaching.

 

Social Play

A popular club night takes place every Monday. Members turn up and mix in for social tennis with other members. There is a court booking system in place for play at all other times.

 

Coaching

If you feel you would like to “have a go”, the club coaches Warwick and Kathy Pistorius are available to start beginners off as well as help improve more experienced players in their game. They provide many coaching sessions for Juniors, so don’t forget the children!

 

Competitive Tennis

The club also has 2 ladies teams competing in the Sussex tennis inter-club league. Each Summer the club runs a Ladies’ and Men’s Singles competition and Ladies’, Men’s and Mixed Doubles competition.

 

Membership

With an exciting programme and superb facilities, you’ll want to consider joining Rudgwick Lawn Tennis Club. There’s a range of memberships available and so all are welcome at the club.

 

Extras

The clubhouse is a great place to relax. There’s a bar, snooker, pool, darts and Sky TV. Also, various events organised by the Rudgwick Social Club in the clubhouse.
