South Petherton Tennis Club caters for all standards of play and new members are always welcome. The lively and friendly tennis club is situated on the South Petherton Recreation Ground in Lightgate Lane with 3 all weather floodlit hard courts ensuring all year round play. As a club, all standards of play and new members are always welcome.
Social Play
As a member of the club, you can use the courts whenever they free. And course, the club runs a number of club sessions throughout the year, which encourage all to play tennis.
Coaching
The club benefits from having a qualified coach’s who arranges junior and adult coaching programme. As a safe place for children, the club actively encourages the next generation to develop their tennis skills. Whereas the adults have the opportunity to develop their skills in group and private lessons.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of competitive play, 4 teams play in the local Yeovil and District Lawn Tennis League. Also, the club hosts a range of club members tournaments throughout the year. So there’s plenty going on for all standards of tennis player.
