Stapleford Tennis Club
Located in Stapleford, which is A very pleasant village about 5 miles south of the centre of Cambridge, Stapleford Tennis Club offers a wide range of tennis for all ages. The courts occupy one corner of the village Recreation Ground. The park is also home to various groups such as football clubs and cricket teams. Stapleford Tennis Club sole aim is to encourage all to become involved with playing tennis.
Social Play
As a family friendly club, all standards of tennis player are welcome. Weekly club sessions enable members to turn up and play tennis, meet new people and get some playing advice.
Coaching
In addition to regular social tennis, there are weekly coaching sessions for younger children on Saturdays in the Summer term, which are run by Over & In. There are also Adult coaching sessions.
Competitive Tennis
While the club does not compete with teams in local leagues, members do arrange their own competitive matches throughout the summer. However, some friendly competitions with other local clubs do take place each year.
Membership
With some of the lowest membership fees in the country, joining Stapleford Tennis Club is a no brainer! Three membership options are available including Junior, Adult and Family. Visitors are also welcome up to three times for free before having to join.
